This tiny (18 inches at birth) girl has a story. She was born (6am) to a first time mom who had no idea that she had a baby....the mom then rejected Lady when she was 're-introduced" to her. I spent all day holding the mom in a vice grip so the baby could nurse to get her colostrium. At about 8pm my daughter called me from the pasture to say that another mom to be just had a jack foal. I then picked up lady, carried her out to the pasture and rubbed the placenta from the new born boy all over Lady to get the smell on her...after rubbing her in the placenta, I wrapped it aroud her like a coat....I then put Lady under the new moms nose and she excepted her. The new mom, Jem is now raising both foals as her own. My kids started calling her Lady Ga Ga because of the time Lady GaGa wore a 'meat dress' out in public. The name stuck. This little girl is super friendly, tiny and has a small blocky head, which just makes her even more beautiful. Anyone would be proud to own her.

Nibbles is 8 years old and was born on our farm...she has been in parades, nativities, churches, petting zoos and shows. She is an around donkey...she has had 5 babies for me in between all her other activities. We are at the point now that we are winding down alittle and need to cut back. We used to do two and three nativity scenes at a time and needed many good gray donkeys for this. We now only do one at a time and very infrequently, so the need to keep all these good donkeys is diminishing. So with that, we are offering Nibbles for sale. There is a chance that she is bred, we took her out of the jack pen when she was in heat, but he did breed her a couple of times, so she may be bred. We will sell her as pet price and open. If you get a baby in a year, that is just a huge bonus!!!
